suggested addition to Scale
<t>Attachments :Thorsten, I don’t see a way to have a group of images scaled to fit within a given rectangle size. I have a group of photos (a mix of horizontal and vertical format) that need ti be sized to fit on a phone so they should be as big as possible within a box of 1336x750 pixels. If the s...

feature request for merging images
<t>Attachments :Thorsten, I’d like to see expanded capabilities for merging images along the lines of the options available in ImageMagick. Right now there is the Merge option in Convert&Modify which appears to do an averaging of the number of selected images, and there is the image calculator w...

Re: GC encounters high CPU temperatures
<r>Thorsten,As far as I can understand he is downloading images at sizes up to 4095 x 4095 pixels and then up sampling them to 9936 x 9936 pixels. <t>I have several hundred images scanned from slides and GC is displaying most of them properly in color but a few are being displayed in monochrome. The exif information is the same for the ones displayed in color vs. the ones showing in monochrome. I’ve attached a grab from the screen showing how ...

Re: editing exif data
<r>Thanks! That solves the GPS problem. I would still like to see a completely general editing function for all of the EXIF data fields in a future version. It would be more user-friendly than using the exiftool command-line program.RichOn Nov 7, 2014, at 10:00, Thorsten Lemke <EMAIL email="lemke@l...

editing exif data
<t>Thorsten, you have included a number of specific editing functions for the metadata data (dates etc.) but the general Edit or add EXIF data… function limits me to only Maker, Model, Software and File Date. I’d like to see access to all of the data fields. In this particular case I’d like to be ab...

Re: V8.3 not saving comments
<r>You mean use a browser window in GC or a Finder file browser window? The IPTC options in the edit Metadata contextual menu doesn't have an input option just copy from/to spotlight comments so I'm not sure exactly what you mean by using IPTC for inputting text.Rich On Sep 27, 2012, at 2:48 PM, Thor...
