Pentax DNG error
<t>Is there a way to manipulate using dcraw within GC so as to maybe update it?I have a variant installed that can do various things with new pixel shift images from Pentax. And if I use dcraw within GC rather than CoreImage it constantly gives me error messages about a corrupt TIFF, whereas running...

Exporting to Flickr?
I see the share icon in my toolbar. I wanted to share to Flickr, but it doesn't show up there. I clicked the "..." list item, which took me to the Share part of the system prefs Extensions, and Flickr was checked.Does this work with GC? Any other way to upload direct to Flickr?

Cropping by pixel dimensions?
<t>When editing a photo, is there a tool that allows me to set a dimension by pixels, say 400x300, and then move that cropping rectangle around on the photo to select part of the image?Or some sort of tool that allows moving around the cropping rectangle like Aperture, but at least displays the pixe...

Scanning with Canon TWAIN drivers in 10.9 and 10.10
<t>I had been having trouble scanning into GC and other applications. Mr. Lemke figured out that this was because the drivers were still 32 bit; I had to restart GC in 32 mode to make use of the Import>scan functions with both a Canon 8800F and P-150M scanner. Ugh. And other applications, that only ...

Awful image quality browsing iPhone images
<t>Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I allow GC to browse images on my iPhone (or iPad) they look horrible; pixelated messes. There's also no Exif data, location, etc; almost no metadata. I selectively import from the device so I hoped I could use GC instead of Image Capture, but browsing lo...

Re: GC9--App Store version?
<r>Alan, I'm wondering the same thing. The license is a bit confusing. It says you may install the non-MAS version on a single computer and use it on a single computer. Rather strict, but OK. Then it goes on to say you need to buy another license if you use it on another computer "at the same time,"...
