Re: Enhanced GPS support

That's awesome! Thanks! You are really second to none when it comes to responding to all kinds of strange requests! I know it is kind of unpolite to ask for even more... But... Is it possible also to add it to the CSV export output? (and maybe a direct google maps link string in the csv - example, t...

[Added] Enhanced GPS support

Dear Thorsten, I love the GPS export format in the EXIF to CSV function. It makes it easy to copy and paste into google maps to find a place related to an image. I have two suggestions for further improvement: 1) list the plus code as well (see http://www.plus.codes for explanation - developer info:...

Re: [Solved] Move images to new folder

Ah, yes. That is nice. However, it will allow move to predefined folders only (and the NAS folders will be a pain to add, since it uses the Finder to define the folders, and the mounted drives "/Volumes/netdriveXX" are not readily visible in the Finder). Anyway, my scenario is as follows (which hope...

Re: [Solved] Move images to new folder

Not sure exactly what you mean...

The "New folder with selection" was the one I was thinking of, which would be nice to have added as a context menu in the sorting tray (moving selected files to a new folder under the folder highlighted in the left pane of the browser).

Re: [Solved] Move images to new folder

Yes, I am aware of that option. It does require several steps, however, to achieve what I want (at least sometimes). Primarily, the problem is that you have to navigate to the folder where you want the new sub folder to be, create that folder, select that one, and then press "Open". If you do it onc...

[Solved] Move images to new folder

Hi Thorsten, I use GC a lot to sort huge image collections. It is very nice to be able to use ratings 1-5 and color labels to group images and subsequently select these and choose "New folder with selection" from the browser window. This feature I use a lot. I would like if the same was also possibl...

Re: SPAM SPAM SPAM

I keep getting notifications about new posts by this user - although they are dated several days ago. Maybe "GalenMi" injected some malicious code into the board... Or are notifications just back logged and will be sent even after the posts are deleted? This one I got minutes ago: Hello cstern, You ...

SPAM SPAM SPAM

Oh, this forum is now also the victim of spammers. First you should ban/kick the user GalenMi who is continously trying to post spam. To prevent spammers in future (at least bots) you should then also set up extra authentication when signing up. I once had another board (can't remember what kind, bu...

Re: Nearly 20 years!

Photoshop was first released in 1990 - 27 years ago (wikipedia)

But that is over the years built by dozens, if not hundreds of programmers.
This makes the efforts of Thorsten even more impressive - keep up the great work!
