Re: [Solved] "don't have sufficient privileges" when saving files
What solved the problem for me was "overwrite the original" preference setting. I have old non-GPS photos that I want to add EXIF GPS data, macOS Monterery V.12.3 and GraphicConverter 11.6. Permissions were correct, disk access was correct. Problem solved for me. GC 4 EVR! Thanks for the a...

Re: graphicconverter is the best!
Agreed. I believe I got my first taste of Graphic Converter from a MacAddict included disk. I was interested in it then because I needed to convert from one graphic format to another. I don't have the same graphic needs, but it continues to be be my first choice in dealing with graphics.

Re: [Solved] Selection size and selection ratio
Thank you Thorsten,
I must have pressed Shift-Command-O sometime without realizing it. My error.
Best wishes
Bucky

[Solved] Selection size and selection ratio
Using GC v10.6.7 and Mac OS 10.12.6. I seem to have missed something with several updates and cannot seem to locate it in either the tool selection, preferences, or the manual. Of course, it may be my shortcoming. I remember when making a section of an image, a small box would appear, giving the dim...

Re: Batch save with same case extension
Thanks for the pointer to the SAVE portion of the Preferences. I found that after I had made my mistake.
I will just have to remember to use it.

[Solved] Batch save with same case extension
I recently ran into a problem with converting a batch of original JPG files—upper case—for a web page. The resulting converted files were saved with a jpg extension—lower case. Using regex to create links between the two, I inadvertently left the extensions as they were. On my case in-sensitive Mac,...

Nearly 20 years!
I've been going over some old finances and see that I purchased a copy of Graphic Converter in September of 1998. That's nearly 20 years ago. I'm fairly certain that the first version of GC that I used before that was packaged with a version of the operating system. It's been good and keeps getting ...

[Solved] How do I add a picture in topic message ?
Putting an inline picture like this?
Here is a snapshot from September 2016.
It seems that PHPBB doesn't put it "inline" with a line of text but in the larger context of all the text.
Graphic converted from the original by GraphicConverter™.

How to use filters?
<t>The other day I wanted to make a small graphic for a background with a gradient and thought the easiest way would be to use my multi-tool Graphic Converter. Unfortunately, I was a little too dense to understand all the parameters for creating a gradient. By trying several "inputPoint0", "CIVector...
