Best Way to sort 1000 of images in Browser mode
<t>Hi This is less of a 'problem' with GC, but maybe more of a pilot error. I take photographs in large batches, and then import them in GC. I then have the task of sorting out the whet from the chaff. I used to run through them in BrowserMode in ThumbNail mode, with some macros to refile photos tha...

Re: [ANN] GraphicConverter 7.3 (build 211)
<r>Thorsten Just wanted to let you know the bulk of the Browser features lacking between 6 and 7 seem to have been fixed - including importing photos, paying attention to the import options, among others. The only thing I noticed is is I put the Browser in thumbnail mode, I can't get the second colu...

Re: camera auto import into specific folder
<r>Thorsten Let me add another voice for this to be fixed. It's the only major thing I keep Version 6 around. But thanks for fixing 'delete after downloading'. drove me mad until i realized I wasn't going mad. --- In <EMAIL email="gcmac@yahoogroups.com">gcmac@yahoogroups.com</EMAIL>, Thorsten Lemke ...

Re: Download Images
<r>Thorsten, Thanks for answering both of my questions. I think what was initially frustrating was that the 7.0 ReadMe should of included something like "what has changed between 6.x and 7.x" and perhaps "what is broken". Had I known that the whole download from Camera into folders was not there yet...

Re: Download Images
<r>Even worse, the version 7 behavior is a step backwards for connected cameras. I relied very heavily on the "Automatic Import" features in GC6, where pictures were downloaded to the folder based on date, and removed from the camera. Is there a plan to restore GC6 Functionality? thanks tim --- In <...

GC 7.2 Browser Move Folders Shortcuts - Relative Moves?
<t>Hi I'm trying to modify Preferences->Browser->Move Folders. What I'd like to do is set Apple-1 to be "move to folder 'Foo' relative to current directory". Is that possible? It does not seem that difficult, unless you're holding that DirHandle in the preferences. I tend to break my photos into dat...

HighVoltage find duplicates.
<t>During a recent discussion of resolution Tom Miller in message 2915 posted a link to two files of the same flower each with a different resolution. I downloaded these files and looked at the example then forgot and left them in my download folder. Today I cleaned out the download folder and trans...
