[Solved] GC printing Preview shows ok, but print is cutting off

Hi, I never had a problem with GC printing. Yesterday first time a problem. I print posters. For size A3 my image is 2976x4320 which is 14.88"x21.60" at 200 dpi. I use Borderless A3, with zero margins. Preview shows ok, but the printout cuts off at bottom. Tried everything, scaling 70% shows wide ...

Re: Kuwahara filter

Hi Thorsten, Application called BiggerPicture. This is their website: https://biggerpicture.app/tour/ It is also in AppStore. It is not free, around $30. I'm playing with it, a free version, it applies a watermark. I guess it uses Kuwahara, but maybe a something more accurate algorithm. I tried the ...

[Closed] Kuwahara filter

Hi Thorsten,

If they exist, could they be included in GC ?
Thanks, Zal

Re: How to match colours on screen to print ?

One more question. I design birthday posters and email them as a digital file to the customer. Up until now, I was sending to customers RGB files for printing. I believe most are using commercial printing services like Staples or Walmart. And that's what I advise them to do. Should I better send ...

Re: How to match colours on screen to print ?

Thanks very much Thorsten and Hagen, I've never paid attention to the icon to match the profile. I even didn't such thing exist. Another reason to read the manual  After I posted my question I started reading all kind of articles on this subject. Really it is a very complicated subject. The ...

[Closed] How to match colours on screen to print ?

Hi Thorsten, I don't know if this question should be posted here, but anyway... Every time I print a coloured image, the colours are less contrasty and less vibrant than on the screen. I use printer interface sliders(Canon Pixma) to increase the brightness and contrast, but it doesn't help much. I ...
