Is it possible to override the native OS Language in GC?
I am running Danish Mac but wish to run GC in English but cannot seem to find a language setting. (much easier to search the manual if you are running the same language as the manual)

I have now tried both AFP and SMB and see somewhat similar speeds. I am running latest GC 10.6.3 (3158) on a 2010 Unibody Macbook Pro running ElCapitan.

Synology NAS slow to update thumbs in manager
Hi, I have my images stored on a Synology DS218+ with 200 to 700 images per folder. When selecting a folder in the left pane it takes around 12 seconds to show the thumbs in the right view/manager-pane. I can sit and wait until it updates the images one by one. It seems as if it is creating the thum...

I would go for ACDSee.
Actually ACDSee also has a Mac version - but that sucks so much on the Mac that it actually made me look for something better, which again brought me to GraphicConverter. And no looking back - GC is much better on the Mac!
