Re: How to fix orientation problem
INTERESTING RESULT!!!! Your advice worked perfectly for 56 out of 70 pictures that had the orientation problem. (THANK YOU!) That leaves 14 that were still a problem, even after the steps you suggested. Here is the interesting part: They are correct in the Finder, or if I open one of them, or in the...

[Solved] How to fix orientation problem
I just went through a large number of vacation photos. Of these, a few dozen appeared "sideways" in the Finder, and when viewed in GC. I thought I "fixed" them by viewing them in GC and using Command-L and Command-R. That DID correct the orientation in GC, but NOT in the Finder. ...

Re: Best way to choose photos to be copied to give to someone else?
Thank you, Thorsten! Yes, marking photos by rating with the 0-5 keys, and then [right click] > Copy > Copy and Paste'ing elsewhere works great. Thank you! BUT ... This brings up some ambiguities: • GC appears to ambiguously use the word "Labels" to mean what the Finder calls "Tags&quo...

Best way to choose photos to be copied to give to someone else?
I have 1600 photos from a recent trip with another couple. We did a lot together, as well as a lot of things separatly. I'd like to go through these photos and select (in some way) those pictures that would be of interest to the other couple, and then copy them to a flash drive for our friends. The ...

[Added] Toolbar button to jump to Apple Maps or Google Maps
I'd love to see an optional button on the toolbar to jump immediately to the Apple "Maps" app to display the location of the current picture. Why? Because the map currently in GC is not as detailed as "Maps". Nuances: - the button would be an optional addition to the toolbar - it...

Re: Unwanted text wrapping in text object
The problem persists even in a new GC document and using the text tool. I did a screen grab movie to show this:
http://shsmedia.com/temp2/gc_text_wrap_bug.mov
This has nothing to do with copying text from somewhere else, the text is created right within GC itself.
THANK YOU for your help!

Re: Unwanted text wrapping in text object
Any progress on this? It's easy to reproduce: 1) Open GC and start a new blank sheet 2) Click "A" text tool and click somewhere on sheet 3) Type a sentence -- text will be wrapped in a narrow column 4) Try to drag handles on text box ... text stays in a narrow column I am using GC 10.5.5 (...
