Due to the Apple Sandboxing GC doesn't have full access to the file system from the Browser. Folders not in the folder tree (Volumes & Folders panel) must be added by drag & drop.

First save your current settings in a safe place using the GraphicConverter 12 > Backup menu.
Then download the First Aid Tool : https://www.lemkesoft.info/files/graphicconverter/gc_first_aid.dmg
