Default options on open pdf document
Previously I was asked about ignoring an ?alpha channel when opening a pdf. I clicked 'don't ask me again' once and am now seemingly stuck with an option I don't want, ie documents open with a checkerboard background (see example image)..... Is there something I can check/uncheck somewhere to revers...

Apply a filter to the bottom layer, then erase parts from the top layer to allow the filtered bottom layer to show through. I don't seem to be able to do it - by changing the blend modes here a...

Thank-you very much, I'll give it a try. This sort of support is why I'm still a happy user after nearly 23 years....

Re: 24 bit Windows bitmap
Thanks - how do I do that within GC? I can't see any 'save as...' options, in 'picture > colors' there are colour depth options, but nothing that matches what you've said? These are tiny images, up to 32x32 pixels, so I need to make it from scratch. When I've tried to edit one that works, it stops w...

[Solved] 24 bit Windows bitmap
In order to work on my GPS, custom symbols need to be saved in '24-bit Windows-style bitmap format'. I can't see how to do this in GC11? Can anybody assist please?

Re: Text color and background
Yes - thanks very much. That is spot on. This sort of support is why we keep using/upgrading GC, since the 90's.....
