Lossless JPG cropping in 9.7.2
<t>Hello . After running the 9.7.2 update, was trying to do a lossless JPG crop which I usually do by Cmd+Shift+S. (Had 'enable lossless jpg cropping when possible' enabled.) Since the update, Cmd+Shift+S does not bring up the Save dialog (in fact, it doesn't do a thing.) How do I get lossless jpg ...

Batch processing and lossless JPG crop in GC9
<t>Two questions.1) I used to do lossless JPG cropping in earlier versions by opening an Edit window, making selection using the Crop tool, selecting 'Save selection only', and hitting Save. In 9 I am getting the "before/after" preview window which I presume means the resulting crop would not be los...

Compressing and Archiving TIFFs- advice pleez
<t>I have some large scans totalling about 12-13GB and want to make a compressed archive- IF it can be compressed "losslessly". If it can, how do I do it- a garden-variety zip file, or is there a particular best way? I'm hoping to fit the resulting archive on one DVD+R (DL). Any advice would be appr...

Re: Lossless Mirroring
<r>OK, think I am catching on a little bit... I *was* using the browser. This does not work in thumbnail view (the 'mirror' option under the 'picture' menuis grayed out there) but when you bring the pic up in its own window the mirror option is available. Turns out when I 'save' the mirrored pic it ...
