Scripting options for CADintosh?

Wondered if there are any approaches to this. There are some things I would like to script that are operations in the graphic interface. Specifically I'd like to script the zoom all operation and map the script to a keyboard shortcut. I don't see an Applescript dictionary for CADintosh when using th...

Display and print order of objects, fills, layers?

I am filling an area in my drawing, and I would like the fill to cover over lines (objects) that are crossing the filled area - i.e. the fill should be in front of the objects relative to the viewer. But I can't seem to make this happen. Is there a way to control this? Related question - is there a ...

Re: Is there a way to change the size of an existing text box?

Thank you. I installed GraphicConverter11, but the application does not immediately recognize the Cadintosh .cadx file. Sorry my skills aren't higher. Should I have saved the .cadx file in another format, in order to pull it into GraphicConverter? I've attached the zipped up .cadx file, if you care ...

Re: Is there a way to change the size of an existing text box?

My apologies but I don't know how to export it as a GraphicConverter document. And I expect I need to refresh the version of GraphicConverter that I have.

Is there a way to change the size of an existing text box?

I understand how to move it, but even after the handles appear at the corners, they can't be chosen to resize the box. I'm often creating really big text boxes to ensure there is enough room not to clip the text. But afterwards, I'd like to resize the box to a more appropriate size. Thanks for any g...

Thanks. I've been away from the app for a bit. I'll checkout the new BETA build.

[Solved] Erratic display and drawing of lines

Attached is a drawing where I am having difficulty in placing lines on the right hand side. It also shows issues with displaying lines in this area of the drawing. You will see two black circles that show the ends of line segments. At the zoom all display, there is no line connecting them. Zooming i...

Scaling Factors

Thorsten,
Here is an example drawing, done at 1:1 scale. There is a landscape US Letter page on layer 1023.

I'd like to print this at a scale where 1 inch in the printed page corresponds to 1 foot.

Thanks,

- Bob

[Solved] X-line - curves - seeing bezier or spline points?

Is there a straightforward way to display all the anchor points on such a curve, when wanting to adjust the anchor points? It seems like you have to click right on one of the points (such as the end), and then all the underlying anchor points appear. But when doing an adjustment, that makes the end ...
