Re: Odd behavior with hatching style/attributes
Here are the version numbers you requested: Cadintosh X: 8.8.4 Mac OS: Monterey V12.6.7 Attachment below. Layer 1 is locked against editing. In the zipped version, the displayed attributes for the blue hatched rectangles in layer 2 have drifted from the settings used to generate them, where the ...

Re: Glitch in symbols? Can't have a fillled symbol.
My apologies. I got confused because the symbol library does not show the fill.
I just used one of my symbols - though in the library it appeared empty, when placed in the drawing it had the fill.
I left the thread here so others who are similarly confused might benefit.

[Solved] Glitch in symbols? Can't have a fillled symbol.
On several occasions I've tried to make symbols that have a fill. Whether making a symbol by selecting a group with a fill, or using as selection window, the resulitng symbol never had any fill to it.

[Solved] Including hatching in a group?
I'm trying to make a simple filled rectangle as a group, that I can move as a group, and duplicate as a group. I can't seem to get this to work. After creating the rectangle, I use the hatch tool for the fill I want. Then I go to group and either do it by using a window, or selecting individual ...

[Solved] Scripting options for CADintosh?
Wondered if there are any approaches to this. There are some things I would like to script that are operations in the graphic interface. Specifically I'd like to script the zoom all operation and map the script to a keyboard shortcut. I don't see an Applescript dictionary for CADintosh when using ...

[Closed] Display and print order of objects, fills, layers?
I am filling an area in my drawing, and I would like the fill to cover over lines (objects) that are crossing the filled area - i.e. the fill should be in front of the objects relative to the viewer. But I can't seem to make this happen. Is there a way to control this? Related question - is there a ...

Re: Is there a way to change the size of an existing text box?
Thank you. I installed GraphicConverter11, but the application does not immediately recognize the Cadintosh .cadx file. Sorry my skills aren't higher. Should I have saved the .cadx file in another format, in order to pull it into GraphicConverter? I've attached the zipped up .cadx file, if you care ...

Re: Is there a way to change the size of an existing text box?
My apologies but I don't know how to export it as a GraphicConverter document. And I expect I need to refresh the version of GraphicConverter that I have.
