Re: [Added] Setting EXIF Date/Time Original separately from Date/Time Digitized?

You are incredible with the speed with which you make feature changes in response to user requests!

At a time of your convenience, could you also add the same feature to the Set EXIF date to Filename dialog box? I use that feature as well when working with scanned images.

Thanks again.

[Added] Setting EXIF Date/Time Original separately from Date/Time Digitized?

I've tried various options for setting the EXIF date in GC 11.5.1, and whatever method I choose, it seems to set both Date/Time Original and Date/Time Digitized to the same value. I'm working with scanned images, and I don't want Date/Time Digitized to reflect the date the photo was taken, but remai...

Re: [Solved] Selecting multiple folders?

I was trying to multi-select in the folder tree on the left, not in the main browser window. Multi-selection works fine in the main browser window. You might consider adding the ability to multi-select in the folder tree. That way, if multiple folders are selected, their contents would display in th...

[Solved] Selecting multiple folders?

Can GC do this? I'd like to select multiple folders of images to do operations on. The usual Mac method of click/shift-click for contiguous folders, or click/cmd-click for non-contiguous folders does not seem to work in GC. I know I can choose Flat View, but that doesn't seem to take care of my use ...

[Solved] IPTC editing: "Each separate" vs "all at once"

If I understand correctly, if I select multiple images, choosing "Each separate" allows me to cycle through the chosen images one by one to edit IPTC data, while "all at once" changes the given field on all chosen images to the text entered in the field. Do I have this correct? I...

[Solved] Inconsistent results when using Batch & Format

Thanks to your quick work, I have been able to create Batch & Format preset that takes uncompressed TIFF files and saves them as compressed TIFF files with prediction, which results in a nice savings of disk space. But, I've run into some inconsistent behavior, alas. I invoke the batch processin...

Re: Bug(?) in compressing a folder of TIFF files

After selecting "Don't show again" for the message, GC behaves as I would expect and completes the batch task without a problem.

What does the message mean? Why is GC saying it will ignore the destination format?

Re: GC TIFF compression is much less than Photoshop's?

I have sent you an email with a Photoshop compressed tiff file, as you requested. The attachment is 23MB, so I am concerned that it may be too large for the email system.

Please let me know if you did not receive the email + attachment, and I will find another way of getting the file to you.
