[Solved] Reverse geotagging won't stick in some files
A little puzzled by this, and can't find in manual. I used Reverse Geotagging on all the files (>1000) in a folder, mostly with success. Of course it didn't do anything to the ones that didn't have GPS data. But of the ones that *did* have GPS data, about 250 didn't fill in the information. If I sel...

Re: Batch renaming files from metadata?
Fantastic — thanks so much! Sorry for such simple minded questions. I looked but didn't find these things!

Re: Batch renaming files from metadata?
Hmm. Is there a simple way to sort those images that have some GPS information from those that have none? Or those that lack a shooting date/time?
(If there is no GPS information or shooting date and time, the Simple Rename routine above returns a null string.)
Many thanks.

Re: Batch renaming files from metadata?
Many thanks for this — useful to see how it's done.
This is only manual, though, right? No way to batch process it?
Many thanks.

Batch renaming files from metadata?
Hi — I've just discovered my Apple Photos library is corrupt (can't export any photos older than September) and so used a Graphic Converter script to export the whole lot. It looks like GC preserved the metadata and even gives accurate creation/modification dates in the Finder. But the filenames are...

[Solved] No selection rectangle
GC 11.2.2, OS 10.14.6 I am not getting a visible selection rectangle when I drag click the selection tool with my mouse in GC. (I can get a selection box in both Preview and Photoshop.) I've tried rebooting and reinstalling GC, but the problem remains consistently. Is there something obvious I'm ove...
