[Solved] Photos Damaged after upgrading to GC 12

Hello. On 9 Nov, I upgraded from GC 11 to 12 on Mac Sonoma 14.2.1. Starting on 24 Dec, if I click on a file, it tries to open with GC 11 that is no longer installed. A messages says: “GraphicConverter 11” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “GraphicConverter 11” and download it again from the App...

Hello. I just emailed one of the affected photos. I could not zip the file, so I reduced the photo to 50% quality. Thanks for your help.

[Solved] Photo Orientation

Hello. I have used GC for quite a long time, but a new issue just started where portrait photos are saved and then adjust themselves to landscape even if I recorrect them. What might be causing this? I didn't adjust any settings recently, so I'm not sure why this is occurring.

[Solved] Convert & Modify - 2nd File Creation

Hello. I have been trying to convert a very large number of TIF files at 600 dpi to JPGs at 600 DPI, but for each file I keep getting a new 600 dpi and 72 dpi JPG. How do I stop getting the second smaller file? I've read through the manual and settings, but can't stop the second file from being crea...

Re: GC 11 File Sizes

Hello. I've never used custom icons. I was looking at the settings for a few days but finally figured out that if I save a photo using "save as", instead of just closing and saving, that under options you can adjust the "quality" size. In the past I had that set to 100% but some ...

[Solved] GC 11 File Sizes

I have been a casual GC user for many years. With past versions, I noticed after editing and saving files that my photos would become bloated since they became much larger in size. After recently updating to GC 11, I noticed that my photos were shrinking in size. With both cases, I did not notice an...
