I move images from a folder with a huge number of them to a smaller folder to browse and view/edit them. I would like to prefetch when browsing the smaller folder but not when I go to the huge folder to move the images back and forth. So...would it be possible in the "File>Browse..." dialo...

I am trying to convert a batch of .pdf files to .jpg files. It goes fine except the file numbering that result doesn't seem to make sense.

Would you move then new "Resize" menu in the menu bar left to be between "Edit" and "Picture"?

Aha! Got it! Thanks, Thorsten.

When I use Picture>Alpha Channel>Remove it seems to replace it with the last background color that was selected in the Toolbox, not the one displayed currently on the Toolbox.

Also Thorsten, thanks for the tip to the work-around by closing the toolbox in the meantime. Apparently you had a hunch about what was going on.

GC 11.2.2 (4481): Much better, but I'm still confused on selecting colors for the text and background, I seem to have to click the 'text color' box and then the color from the color picker back and forth several times for it to stick. Same for the background color. Is this still an issue or am I not...

Yes, closing the regular tool box and working only with the text boxes and Apple color chooser(s) works around the problem.
