Re: AW: [gcmac] iptc text handling bug?

<t>Thorsten, Found what might be a bug. I saved a Powerpoint file as a .png through Powerpoint. Used 5.2.2 in OSX to crop using the "Frame" tool. Decided the crop area was not correct so grabbed one (works with any) of the handles to reposition the frame...and therein lies the problem. The whole pic...

Re: AW: AW: AW: [gcmac] Quicktime Movie Question

<r>Thanks, Thorsten, You've got to be a genius! The "Delete originals after Conversion" was selected. Don't ever remember doing it but I deselected and now works perfect!! Re: AW: AW: [gcmac] Quicktime Movie Question

<r>That's strange. I've done this with two folders of picts. The first one I lost all of them. The second, I got smart and made as a copy. They too disappeared. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks ===================== On Aug 2, 2004, at 1:29 AM, <EMAIL email="lemkesoft@t-online.de">lemkesoft@t-onlin...

Re: AW: [gcmac] Quicktime Movie Question

<r>Thanks for the quick response. That certainly answers the transition question. I'll CERTAINLY be looking forward to the update on that. Now as for the copy of the image, I can understand the need for that. Do I just need to make a duplicate of the folder I want to develop a movie from to ensure I...

Quicktime Movie Question

<t>So I understand how to get a movie out of a group of picts and select the size you'd like it to develop, but I have two more questions. (1) How do you keep GC from deleting the files as it incorporates them into a .mov? (2) How do you keep your transitions between picts? I've got random Quicktime...

Re: AW: [graphicconverterforum] Finder Picture Problem

<r>So if this to used to develop icons for folders, etc. how do you limit the icons to 1? When I was finally able to recover at 3AM this morning, I had deleted over 3000 of these icons for the 1.8M picture. Finder Picture Problem

<r>Thorsten, I was reading a CNET file question regarding how to setup desktop picts on a Mac. Thought to myself, "Hey! I know that GC does a wonderful job of it!" Just forgot what the file naming was. Decided I run through the process to ensure I was giving the correct method. I ran a 1.8M JPG file...

Re: Bug : Cannot add a "/" character in file name in Browser mode

<r>Pascal, I believe the reason you're encountering this problem is that you can't name a file or folder with that character on any system. It doesn't compute as Windoz will look for another directory when it sees that slash, ergo Apple stays away from using it as they're trying to maintain their "c...

Re: Other Icon

Attachments :Ernie, Rather than trying to explain, here's a screen shot of the "Other" tool. I've circled it with an arrow. Of course I'm using a 17" Powerbook with 10.3. It's got LOTS of other features besides the "Search for Dups". Hope this gets it for you. Frank
