Do you use the current 11.4? That opens MacPaint files perfectly.

Did you try to select only fade and set the transition time to zero?

Yes, GraphicConverter 11.4 supports this now.
Just select MP4 in the prefs: and use the Export after that: Thorsten

Please check the View menu.

Is the display of the selection frame maybe hidden?
