Re: Resolution and file format
the resolution is only a metadata value wich sets the scaling of the real pixel data for print etc. And only if the print service actually pays attention to that setting. Most do not and will print at whatever size you want typically with a warning that for a given print size, photos with a megapix...

Re: How to change the "folder photo"?
Just select that folder, do a "Get Info" (command I), in the upper left corner should be that photo. Select it and hit delete and you should be left with a blue folder again.

Re: Show Folder Tree in browser not staying on?
Nope no change. Downloaded _build4160 and copied it from the disk image to my downloads folder (want to keep the stable release as is in my Applications folder). Opening Folder Tree, then quitting GC, then reopening, the tree is closed again.

[Solved] Show Folder Tree in browser not staying on?
Version 11.1 (4132) Hi, I have noticed with this version and later (betas) that I have to go to View -> Show Folder Tree to turn it on but next time I load CG the Folder Tree is hidden again so I have to turn on the view every time. This is inconsistent with how it has always worked in the past. Is ...

Re: Using the Map to set GPS coordinates weirdness
I am using the latest Catalina update. The issue isn't displaying on the map. The issue is if I select all of the files (so select all three) and try to move the pin. Problem 1: When the files do NOT have any GPS coordinates at all it still say they do and do I want to update them (see the screen sh...

Re: Using the Map to set GPS coordinates weirdness
Nope, didn't work. I checked the Store XMP inside Raw as shown and I still have to pick Skip All on each of the files I had selected and then GPS is still updated. On a related note I also noticed the "Delete GPS data..." menu items asks me if I want to confirm but then doesn't actually do...

Re: Using the Map to set GPS coordinates weirdness
Pinging this one to see if this can be confirmed to be an issue with GC or just my computer/installation.

Using the Map to set GPS coordinates weirdness
Version 11.1 (4132) and Catalina. When using the Maps on photos that do not have GPS coordinates, for example if I want to do it for these two shots which clearly are not showing the GC symbol for coordinates: Screenshot 2019-10-19 19.25.12.png when I pick a spot on the map it will always show me......

Re: Lens EXIF info not showing in Photos after Catalina
I just tried an experiment and simply copied the "Exif with GPS for paste" command and copied from the working file to the one not showing lens. I then added the previously non working file to Apple's Photos and now it is showing the lens info correctly. So somehow I altered the EXIF of th...
