Re: SOLVED : Rotate image not working in browser ( 10.6.9)

Thorston- I solved it. Or at least found a solid workaround. In a browser window, I CMD+click selected all the images that needed to be rotated, but previously had failed to do work. 79 images, actually. Then I applied the " Rebuild Metadata " command from the Browser actions submenu. GC t...

Re: Rotate image not working in browser ( 10.6.9)

THORSTON- It appears the problem may be with one of my cameras, not your App. And only in one instance. I downloaded a fresh copy of 10.6.9 and reinstalled it. Then opened up some Folders of images in the fresh browser. The issue of not having Rotation is unique to one folder of images, shot with th...

Rotate image not working in browser ( 10.6.9)

Hi-- For some reason , since the last update to 10.6.9 this week, the Rotate Left and Rotate Right functions have quit working in the Browser. Doesn't matter if it is just one file or a batch select. It appears to work and do the calculation ( Activity Monitor shows this as well ) , but nothing happ...

Text Fill and Stroke Color erratic behavior

I am continually frustrated when trying to select colors for Text Fill and Text Stroke , a feature I use daily. I cannot figure out the keystrokes to enter text and format it for font, size, bold , leading ? kerning etc....then select a Fill color, a Stroke color, and have the colors stay put. As so...

[Solved] Text Tool - Fill and Stroke techniques

I use a LOT of text in photos. I especially like to style the text , to the extent that GraphicConverter allows that , basically. But I am having trouble with using the " Fill and Stroke " feature. I cannot determine the proper keystrokes to first select the Fill ( color of text font in im...

TIFF files show as black icon

I have an annoying issue that happens only with TIFF files. My Mac OSX 11.6 El Capitan system on two different Mac Minis cannot see the Icon preview of a TIFF file except as a solid black thumbnail . In a FInder window or even on the Desktop proper, the TIFF' thumbnails are solid black. Graphic Conv...

Re: Xe 8472 Hanging

I. too . have had this same problem with the wonderful Xe 8472 function in the latest version of GC . It is not repeatable, but ocassionally when I use X38472 to edit , my entire OSX El Capitan system will freeze, not just Graphic Converter and not just the document I'm working on. Only a hard shutd...

Re: More decimal places in GPS data ?

Thorston- What I am asking about GC 10.6.3's display of GPS data is in the Summary tab of the Preview frame in the Browser. Preview-Summary only shows GPS out to 3 decimals places without elevation at all. However, both EXIF Tool and the standard EXIF tab show the full GPS data ( with one caveat : E...
