GraphicConverter is not responsible for a Finder crash. Every application processes run in its own environment.

A checkbox sRGB Profile is confusing. The user may think: the image gets converted to sRGB.
So, here Don't embed sRGB is much better. Because only if the profile is sRGB than it will not be embedded.

The current coding does not allow previews for multiple files/batch.

I suggest to use the function "Add or Edit GPS Values with Map…".
That allows searching and zooming without a direct assign of the result.
Also, it supports reverse geocoding.
The function stores a recents list in addition.

I rechecked your extension report.
The Finder setting doesn't matter: But the individual file setting: is respected if you enable the display of the localized file name: So, just uncheck that option to get always the complete filename.
