Scaling the wiew distorts the picture

Post by prasm »

Today I tried to wiew a picture larger. It was 50,9% according to the window size.
When I asked for 100% it kept the window with and only enlarged the higth causing a severe distortion.
I find no way to correct this new behavior.
Any solution?

I have been having the same problem several times with version 11 updates.

I also find that when I use Adjust my photo becomes darker and saturated making it difficult to edit the photo properly and when I exit adjust the photo goes back to its previous intensity.

I have used the GraphicConverter First Aid.app to delete settings and this initially cures both problems, but it reappears randomly at a later stage.
I have had the problem with the Adjust colour intensity with various versions over the last 10 years, so I hope Thorsten knows what causes this.

Hi,

the color intensity can normally only change if you merge the color profile or save without a color profile.
What are your save as settings?

Did you maybe check the option to Fit the Window Content to the Window?

Yes. I had checked the Fit the Window Content to the Window-option. I unchecked it and the distortion disappeared.

Thank you.
Problem solved.
