Images no longer Exif compliant - problem solved

Post by Suzanne Lafontaine »

(resolu!) / Canon Selphy Es3 printer doesn’t recognize manipulated images as Exif compliant and won’t print. / The Canon Selphy Es3 doesn’t have a Lion driver, so I now have to print the images straight from the SD memory card. But, the images, having been manipulated, are no longer read as Exif compliant by the Canon Selphy.   Solution :1)GraphicConverter > Action > Metadonnees (Metadata) > Recontruire l’aperau Exif  (rebuild Exif data)2)GraphicConverter > Action > Exporter vers un systame compatible DCF (export to DCF device)Ca ne fonctionnait pas quand j’essayais d’exporter directement vers la carte memoire SD. /      It didn’t work at first. I had to first export to a folder on the desktop, and then move that (in this case it was DCIM>100PHOTO > my images) to  the file on the card. Please take note of the hierarchy on the SD card, and replicate the same hierarchy of folders. And the nit works. The printer sees the images, and will print them.  NB If you are using a Bluetooth gizmo with your Selphy, you need to pull it out. Otherwise it prevents the printer to read the card. Once it is out, the images are read.
