GraphicConverter 8.5.3 (Build 1152)

Post by Robert Poland »

Thorsten, Thanks for adding the "Standard "option for color selection to the "Find and Replace" command. Is it possible to also add the Eye Dropped cursor? Thorsten-When I replaced GC Build 1141 with Build 1152 yesterday, I lost access to the three Graphic Converter functions which are normally in my Services menu. The other services showed up as usual. Rebuilding the Services menu and restarting did not correct the problem.  I then reverted to Build 1141 and the missing GC functions reappeared in the Services menu.  I was able to repeat this problem by downloading Build 1152 again and reinstalling it, so I have reverted to Build 1141 and will continue with it until you release another build for us to test. I've never seen this behavior with any GC version before now.For reference, I'm running a 27" iMac 11,3  with 16 GB RAM with OS X 10.8.2.Thanks for all your effort to make GC such a great program.Regards, JimJames G. The release notes for build 1152 say: "added option to geotag from map view" But I can't find this feature. Where is it? And, yes, I have enabled Google Maps. --- In gcmac@yahoogroups.com, "lemkesoft" <lemke@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > I released a new beta. > Please check: > http://www.lemkesoft.org/beta.html > > I will release the final version on Monday. > > Regards > Thorsten Lemke >

I think I found it, but it's not so easy to use. For example, say I have a folder full of both geotagged and not geotagged photos. I'd like to be able to tag the untagged photos by navigating the map using geotagged photos. The way it is now, if you click on a tagged photo the map centers there. But, if you then click on an untagged photo the map zooms out to show the whole world. It would be nice if there was an option to leave the map as-is when moving from a geotagged to non-geotagged photo so that you could geotag the second photo based on the location of the first. (Yes, I know I should be able to do this with GC and Google Earth. Sadly, AppleScript and Google Earth do not work together on my Mac.) --- In gcmac@yahoogroups.com, "Michael" <mgnewman@...> wrote: > > The release notes for build 1152 say: > > "added option to geotag from map view" > > But I can't find this feature. I am having the same problem with the current version 10.1.0, losing access to all the GC functions in the Services menu. I rebuilt the Services menu and restarted but it didn't fix the problem. I deleted GC and reinstalled it fresh, and the GC services show up in System Preferences/Keyboard/Shortcuts/Services as checked and available, but they aren't working. Any ideas?Mac OS 10.11.6 iMac 16gb RAM
