Do a Google search "alternatives to Graphic Converter PC" that will bring up web sites that list alternatives.

I would go for ACDSee.

Actually ACDSee also has a Mac version - but that sucks so much on the Mac that it actually made me look for something better, which again brought me to GraphicConverter. And no looking back - GC is much better on the Mac!

I was using ACDSee for a brief second. It was definitely not bad. Just not as good as GraphicConverter, I'd say.
