[Solved] Nikon NEF Files and XMP sidecars

I have a very similar issue like already discussed in the thread "Canon CR2 files and XMP Sidecars", but with Nikon NEF files.
If I edit IPTC/XMP information of raw pictures, always a .XMP sidecar will be generated. I already tried the setting proposed in the Canon thread, but it seems, that this doesn't work with Nikon NEF files. My focus is to take pictures (with a Nikon D750) of my favorite football team and to publish them right after a match.
Today I use "Exif Editor" for editing the metadata, but the browser view of GraphicConverter seems to be more convenient to do this.
My workflow is:
1. edit metadata of the raw files
2. make basic adjustments in DxO PhotoLab and convert to jpg
3. publish images on web-site(s)
Since PhotoLab already uses .DOP sidecars for every .NEF for nondestructive editing, the .XMP are additionally sidecars to maintain.
Since all the information seems to be written correct into the .NEF files, I don't need the .XMP sidecars. I can delete them manually after editing of the meta data, but I'd prefer, that they won't be written at all.
If you need some .NEF files, I can upload them to the cloud and provide a link to you.
Best regards
Ernst
