Suddenly, a movie with each picture. ??

A few months ago, I started getting a movie with each picture I download. I have tried to look at settings, but don't see anything that helps. Any ideas? I'd rather not have to delete a movie every time I download a picture to my Mac. Running GC 10.6.9 (3340) with High Sierra 10.13.6. Thanks. john

Hi,
did you maybe enable Live Photos on your iPhone? The iPhone creates in this case a sidecar movie file for each image.
Just uncheck the import of the sidecar files in the Download options.

Thorsten: I think that did it. I also had to turn on something else so it would not automatically revert to "Live ON", or some such thing. Thank you once again. john
