[Solved] Selecting multiple folders?

Post by camner »

Can GC do this? I'd like to select multiple folders of images to do operations on. The usual Mac method of click/shift-click for contiguous folders, or click/cmd-click for non-contiguous folders does not seem to work in GC. I know I can choose Flat View, but that doesn't seem to take care of my use case, where I wish to select all images within multiple non-contiguous subfolders of a master folder.

Yes, that works perfectly in the browser:

Do you use the current 11.5.1?

I was trying to multi-select in the folder tree on the left, not in the main browser window. Multi-selection works fine in the main browser window.

You might consider adding the ability to multi-select in the folder tree. That way, if multiple folders are selected, their contents would display in the main browser window, which would allow a subset of images to be selected for action. If one cannot multi-select in the folder tree, then it isn't possible to select a subset of images taken from multiple folders, right?
