Using the new GC 10.3.1 VF, I have a new problem (MacBook Pro OS 10 El Capitan). When I connect my iPhone 5S (iOS 10.2.1), no chance to read (and download) the pictures as in the past.
My French GC10 says "L'Appareil iPhone étant verrouillé par un mot de passe et connecté à un hôte non fiable, GC n'est pas en mesure d'accéder à cet appareil"
roughly: the iPhone is locked by a password and connected to a not reliable host, GC cannot access this device.
So MY MacBook Pro and MY personal iPhone are not reliable ? ¿ ?
Could somebody help please?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards from France

Re: iPhone not recognised
Hi,
Apple changed this.
1. Connect the iPhone to your Mac
2. Unlock your iPhone and if the message trust computer appears: click onto yes
3. Launch GraphicConverter and access the iPhone

Just want to remember the French users that a French GraphicConverter Forum is also available here. The support has the same level and question posted in their mother langage may also help the French non English speakers

Re: [Soved] iPhone not recognised
I still have the same problem. MacBook Pro OS is 10.12.6, iPhone6s is 10.2.6.
I connected the iPhone, unlocked it, clicked the "trust" option, and the iPhone appears in the GC- Browser, but no pictures can be seen.
What can I do?
Best regards,
Klaus.

Re: [Soved] iPhone not recognised
Does the ImageCapture app shows the content? Because I have to use the Apple SDK to access the iPhone.
Also, I would suggest to update your macOS to match the iOS version.

Re: [Soved] iPhone not recognised
I didn't realise that iCloud Photoservices were (accidentially) enabled; so no wonder that the Phone didn't show any pictures.
Sorry for the inconveniance but thank you for your fast response,
Klaus.

Re: [Sovled] iPhone not recognised
Hello!
I probably still have the same problem:
I can't browse or download my photos on my iPhone 7 (actual iOS); iPhone connected via USB and unlocked.
As I am not convinced of the MacOS Verions later than 10.9, I use that one; GC 10.5.5 and
text: Das Gerät "iPhone Martin Wächter" ist geschützt. Der GraphicConverter kann somit nicht darauf zugreifen. Bitte entsperren Sie es.
The GC browser opens, shows the iPhone in the left directory list, but there's no content.
Is there any possibility to get the pictures on my MacBook?
Thanks,
Martin

Hi,
the iPhone is still locked if this message appears.
Just connect to your Mac.
Unlock the iPhone and the images appear.
