[Solved] New (and unwanted) dialog

Post by John Hill »

Since a few weeks back, I have been seeing a new dialog in the following situation:

1. Scan an item in a magazine using TWAIN.
2. Select the item using <command><option>E and copy.
3. Expand the window using canvas size to just over twice the height.
4. Paste bottom centered.

I get a dialog (see attached image) saying "The clipboard contains an image in different formats" and I have to choose.

Why is this (how can two format arise anyway)?

And how to I suppress it? The resultant image is going to be printed anyway, and is never saved.

Just uncheck the option in the prefs:

Thanks - sorted!

I have some sympathy with JamesInSanDego's point. I suspect that I use about 1% of Graphic Converter's capabilities!
