I am new to GraphicConvertor and trying the program at the moment.
In my workflow I select and rate my photos (using stars) in FastRawViewer. FRV writes those star ratings into a sidecar file.
For some reason GraphicConvertor does not show the stars that I set in FRV. A refresh does not work either. It seems that a sidecar that was created in another program is ignored by GC.
How to solve this problem? What is the trick?

Please e-mail one image file and one sidecar file zipped to lemke@lemkesoft.de for testing.

Re: Rating set in FRV not reflected in GC
Many thanks for the sample.
That is simple.
You use JPEGs. JPEGs use normally no sidecar file. Because XMP is placed directly inside the JPEG following to the XMP standard.
So, GraphicConverter will not check the sidecar file.
Just select your files and use the context menu item to transfer the XMP sidecar file into the standard area.

Thanks for your prompt answer. This explains it. And I found out that FastRawViewer can be configured to write the metadata data into the jpg file. So problem solved !
