Live Photos

Post by Garp »

More and more of my workflow is consisting of Apple's Live Photos.

Currently, I own GC 9 and was considering upgrading to 10 because of the, "detection of Apple Live Photos." But in trialing version 10, I'm not seeing the difference. Both 9 and 10 are displaying the separate .jpg and .mov file. And both allow me to open/play each file separately. Also, both show a "live" label on the .mov file. It's quite possible that I'm using version 10 incorrectly.

Apple's Photos app treats the .jpg and .mov as one monolithic file. Does GC 10 offer similar functionality?

GC does detect and show the files as separate files.
That is normal.

But it detects a live movie and marks it with the text.

I'm seeing this same behavior in version 9. I know version 10 has many other benefits, but specifically for Live Photos, does version 10 do something differently than version 9?
