Is there a way to point GC at Google Earth Pro for the purposes of geotagging?
I don't have Google Earth, but Google Earth Pro, and it I keep getting the "calling Google Earth" failed message when trying to add a position from Google Earth.
I'd download Google Earth...but that's no longer an option. It's either Google Earth Pro OR Google Earth in the Chrome browser. No more Google Earth non-pro.

Re: Google Earth Pro for geotagging?
Google did void their AppleScript interface some years ago. It seems that they are not willing to fix it.
You can just set a geo position directly in the GraphicConverter browser:
Just select a file. Enable the tab with the map view. Click and hold around one second to set the location.
