Back in 2013 I was able to set the creation date of cropped photos to the date the photo was taken. Now I can't find that date in the cropped photo.
I've either forgot how I did it or something changed. I like my edited bird photos to have a date of when the photo was taken. Help anyone?

Hi,
I need a bit more details.
Has the original file Exif data?
If yes: just save the cropped part with Exif to keep that data.

Thanks. Problem solved. I was looking at "Date" not "Exif".
