[Solved] Text Deselection Causes "Mirroring" in Mojave?

Post by dave.taylor »

Don't really know how to describe this accurately, but in GC 10.6.4 running on Mojave 10.14 (18A391), text is acting very weird.

I click on the text tool and type in my text. So far, so good. But as soon as I deselect that layer or object (by clicking elsewhere on the image, say), the text immediately flips over. It's easier to illustrate. Here's the text object selected:

but as soon as I deselect the layer it immediately flips to this:

I imagine that it's some sort of odd Mojave bug, but it's sure tough to deal with or come up with a workaround! Please add to the to-do list!

Sorry, btw, can't get image embedding to work with my Dropbox account!

Please download the latest BETA (build 3191 or later):

http://www.lemkesoft.org/beta.html

That fixes the "nice" Apple change.
