[Solved] Replace black finder icon with image preview

I am still plagued by having TIFF images show up in the Finder with a solid black icon ... the Color Profile gremlin.
GraphicConverter is nice enough to show the file with the correct preview in the Browser , but the Mac balks.

How do I rewrite the black icon with a normal color image icon in GC ?
And how do I prevent this from happening in the first place ?

( Happens most often with my own scanned images due to Epson using its own profile , or technical / scientific images I download )

Hi,
just use the create preview command in the browser context menu:
