[Solved] Modify selection frame

Although the tooltip that pops up when I do a rectangular selecton notes that I can "modify frame ... drag from corner", all that happens is that the frame gets moved around, not resized in any way. Is this a bug, or is the tooltip wrong?

Hi,

you can modify the frame by clicking in a corner and move it.

Hi Thorsten,

I have the same issue as the OP. I have been using GC for many years without any issue. After upgrading to MacOS Catalina, the handles on corners and sides of the rectangular selection box have disappeared. So now there is only the option to drag around the whole selection frame after creating it. When I make a new selection, I see the handles as the box is drawn, but then they disappear when the mouse button is released. Note: This is reproducible in both GC 9 and GC 11, with multiple JPG image files.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi,

did you install GraphicConverter 11.1 (which fixes this Catalina issue)?

I downloaded GC 11 from the App Store today, and got 11.0.1. Will 11.1 be on the App Store soon?

The 11.1 is currently waiting for review. So, that's up to Apple.

You can e-mail a copy of your receipt to support@lemkesoft.de and I will issue a normal license outside the Mac App Store.

Apple approved now the 11.1 and the update should be visible.
