1) Browser will allow me to close an edited image WITHOUT asking me to save it
2) Browser doesn't retain pane positions (sizes) between sessions (think you know this one)

GC First Aid (Prefs Trash) doesn't fix (could you make First Aid Quit upon close?)

1) Can't reproduce this here. I get the changed message.
What happens with the latest BETA:

1) Closing without saving - that was specific to certain files - screenshots I made of a pop-up, other files correctly give the save changes dialog. Attached is one of those files.
2) Pane sizes - now seems to retain size of left files pane, but not the preview icon size and the width of the middle, main browser pane.
