[Closed] Zoom not working properly in 11.x

I'm not sure which version it happened in, but zoom seems to be broken in v11.1.1 on my macOS 10.14.6 machine.
When I attempt to zoom in using any method (the top menu View/Zoom, the magnifying glass at the bottom of the window, the zoom percentage at the bottom of the window, or just by gesturing on the trackpad), the image just stretches vertically a little bit (the proportions of the image actually change) and that's it. Zooming at that point no longer works, no matter what amount I choose.
