I was sent a .jpg photo from a friend who operates a PC. When I open it in Preview, just the photo shows up. When I open it in Graphic Converter 10 or 11 a blue frame shows up around the person's face with text "FaceID:3" above the upper left corner of the frame. I assume this is some sort of information stored in the .jpg's header information. GC's Layers dialog box only contains a background layer.
I saved the file from Graphic Converter 11 after cropping and reducing its scale and opened it in Preview. Again, the blue frame does not show up when viewed in Preview, but does when reopened in Graphic Converter 11.
Is this some sort of setting I can change to get rid of this frame? I can send a copy of the file if you wish.
By the way, this frame does not show up in Graphic Converter 9.
Thank you,
Larry Fagan

Hi,
just go to the faces menu and uncheck the display of the XMP faces:
