If I unskew an image of a rectangular object e.g the signboard in the attached image, will the resultant image retain the relative dimensions of the original object? Or will the length perhaps be shortened?

GraphicConverter can not know the real size due the 2d source image.
So, the proportions will be a bit off in this case. Simple use non-proportional scaling after the function.
