Find Duplicates Delay
I commented earlier on the apparent GC delay of starting find duplicates process. I just retried it (again). Here are my results I rebooted the machine just to make sure there were any residuals floating around. I went into browse then did a find duplicates There was a decided delay of 60 seconds before the find duplicates started up. I did not observe and new icons being generated. There are about 1000 files of various types in folder (and sub folders) mostly JPG's but pdf's and gif's and zip and dmgs in the folders. I can't swear to it but I do not recall the delay happening before (but then I usually try and multitask and do other things while the the find duplicates works. I vaguely remember some small delay like when browse starts up (reading the folder?) but the delay in find duplicates is new (to me) and I do use it 5-10 times a day (or more). Ed
