Working with GC and Apples Aperture

Post by Yogie »

Hi, I just wondering if anyone is using GC with Apples Aperture? I just setup Aperture to use GC as an external editor and exporting and manipulating the photo works great. When it comes to saving the composition I used to have the edited photo synchronized back to Aperture - this is what Photoshop does when I put it as the external editor. But with GC this seems not going to work? Maybe I'm doing it wrong so I ask you for help and any advice? Many thanks in advance! Cheers Yogie

Hi, What is the image format and edit format? I see the updated thumb in aperture. Also, the update file is in the aperture database. Thorsten,my originals are stored in RAW (CR2) and I hand over in TIF 8bit (waiting for the new GC to use a higher bit rate), I need to have another look and do some more testing, maybe it is just a very slow process until I see the updated files. I'll get back to you asap as I have more information.Have a great day!JoergAm 16.04.2012 um 18:15 schrieb Thorsten Lemke:   Hi, What is the image format and edit format?
