Thorsten,1. I have a PDF i'm opening as 300 ppi, 256 grays.When I open the "Find and Replace" I am not allowed to double click and select the Search color.2. In the same picture (any picture) I am no longer able to use the ESC key to exit the Text Mode.TIA, Robert Poland2.7 GHz Intel Core I5, 27” iMac  12 GB Ram, 1TB HD, OS 10.7.3

Hi Thorsten, I've started getting attachments with your contributions. Is this something to worry about? (See reference at the bottom of this note) Also, I carried out my occasional check in case pixel editing is implemented usefully in the latest version. Version 8 is now even quite a lot worse than version 7 (I still use 5.9.5). The latest type is unable to pick a pixel at 1200 x magnification - it insists on picking one higher and to the right). Also, the linear extension of the marquee no longer works as it should.
