It's 952 now, 14 July. GC's Get Info correctly states it is 8.2, but Finder Info says 8.1.1. Odd. Thorsten Build 952 would not overwrite earlier copy, giving a message that "quartz filter blur in use" (or words to that effect, sorry I did not write it down or take a screenshot). Quitting Preview solved it. No document was open in Preview.
