I remember using this app many, many years ago, running in a Macintosh IIci.We made our first font catalog with it in the 90's.
In that time one information item showed in the print sample was the number of characters per line which was very useful.
It has this feature disappeared? Could it come back?.

The number of characters per line depends on the used characters. You can only write it for a font like Courier.
