Combining/Merging two small scans of a larger image

I have some newspaper articles that are larger than my A4 scanner. My plan is to do two scans that overlap and combine them into a single jpg.

I'm wondering if Graphic Converter is able to analyse such images and combine them automatically.

Years ago I think I used Adobe Acrobat or Photoshop for such tasks but I no longer have access to them.

That is currently not supported. You have to arrange them manually.
