[Closed] Browser is not displayed upon loading 11.8.2 update

I've always been shy of loading updates and new versions, primarily because I've become accustomed to the way things work with a particular version.

That said, I didn't think going from 11.8.1 to 11.8.2 would be an issue.

After loading the update, the browser would not appear, despite repeated attempts to clear preferences and any other items associated with GC in the brucem/Library folder.
I finally deleted the GC package from the Applications folder & copied an 11.8.1 package from my backup. Holding my breath, I started GC, and opened the browser... Success!

Details: MacBook Air, M2 2022, Sequoia 15.7.

Yes, I know 12 is available, but I had just updated to 11 not long before 12 came out.

I searched the web and found a German site where someone was complaining about this very issue, and their solution was the same as mine; revert to 11.8.1. So far, I haven't found this issue listed in this forum.

GraphicConverter 11 is not compatible with macOS Sonoma, Sequoia or Tahoe.

Please update to the current 12.4.2.
