I need to send some pictures to a print shop for printing. They require this to be in PDF/X-1a:2001 format, this seems to be a slightly old-ish but otherwise default print layout requirement.
I have so far, despite digging through the application, the help files, and the forum here failed to identify how to do this, the PDF export offers a number of format options, but no PDF/X ones.
Is it possible to convert a file to this format in GC? How would I go about doing so?

Re: Export for printing
PDF/X files use always CMYK color space and profile.
That is not supported, yet. Did you get the desired color profile from them?
Can you maybe forward to support@lemkesoft.de ?

Re: Export for printing
bummer, but thanks for the confirmation that this is not available (yet), I'll focus my effort somewhere else.
Yes, aware of the CMYK requirement; I have no specific profile from them (what I'm trying to print is all in grayscale anyway), but if they provide anything I'll forward it, no problem
actually, any suggestions for a tool that can provide that output, and that I could move the data from CG for that purpose? Without investing in Photoshop or Adobe, preferably?

Re: Export for printing
I don't have any suggestions yet.
But printing companies often accept normal RGB or greyscale data and carry out the CMYK conversion themselves for their workflow.
In the last 30 years, no one has ever asked me for such a PDF export.
